English Connection Opening Branch in Italy

SARATOGA SPRINGS – English Connection, Division of CONNECT International is currently opening another branch in Rome, Italy. The school's Board of Directors chose Rome as the next site for a branch as the need to learn the English language is increasing in Europe due to the establishment of the European Community.  The school's officers in Rome report that the school will be ready to officially open its doors in early 1999.

EC and College Team Up

SARATOGA SPRINGS – English Connection, the Saratoga Springs-based international language school that provides Intensive English Language & Cultural Immersion Programs, has once again contracted with Paul Smith's College in Saranac Lake to provide their complete English as a Second Language curriculum as part of their Intensive English and Hospitality Program.

Joanne P. Kubricky, Director of ESL Programs at English Connection, said that EC was very excited about teaming up with Paul Smith's College.  "We have a quality program and so do they," stated Kubricky.  English Connection provides instruction to non-native speakers of English who come to the United States from around the world to learn the English language and experience American culture.

As part of the agreement with the college, English Connection, a division of CONNECT International Corporation, will handle the overall administration of the program, which includes a full academic curriculum complete with educational excursions.
