Question: What is the difference between living with a certified teacher and living with a host family? Answer: Living with a Certified teacher is a unique feature offered by English Connection. It is the preferred choice for the serious student who desires to learn the English language as quickly as possible. This is the most effective way for students to improve their level of English proficiency.
We carefully consider the students’ interests as well as age when matching the student and a teacher. Living with a teacher is highly recommended as it provides the best learning environment available.
Living with a teacher is similar to living with a host family. The teacher has a family also. The biggest difference is that a certified teacher understands the learning process and takes the extra time to explain things to the student. A host family may not have the knowledge or the patience to explain everything as would a certified teacher.
