ENGLISH CONNECTION'S curriculum emphasizes creative learning activities designed
to improve one's ability to communicate using the English language. Our curriculum is
designed to help students learn English in the shortest possible time. ENGLISH CONNECTION
uses video-based language instruction, computer-assisted language learning and educational
excursions to add an exciting new dimension to the learning process.
The academic curriculum at ENGLISH CONNECTION consists of reading, writing,
speaking, listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and accent
reduction as well as English for specific purposes and American culture. Students have the
opportunity to create their own media projects, engage in speeches and debates,
participate in a variety of seminars and attend lectures given by guest speakers from the
community. ENGLISH CONNECTION also offers small classes in American Style Cooking,
American History, Spotlight on the USA and other areas of interest. ENGLISH CONNECTION'S
curriculum is developed by professional staff and is evaluated, tested and updated
regularly. |

| Intensive English Instruction

Our Intensive English Language Programs are designed for those individuals who
are committed to learning the English language but have limited time. These complete
academic programs cover all the aspects of learning the English language. There is a total
of 20 hours of classroom instruction per week. Private instruction only or private
instruction in addition to classroom instruction can be arranged upon request. |

| Super Intensive English Instruction
|
Our Super Intensive English Language Programs are designed for those individuals
who are desire a more comprehensive schedule of class instruction. There is a total
of 30 hours of classroom instruction per week. Private instruction only or private
instruction in addition to classroom instruction can be arranged upon request. |

| English for Specific Purposes
|
ENGLISH CONNECTION also provides instruction in English for Specific Purposes
for the individuals who have specific language needs for special vocations or occupations
including various professional fields such as Education, Medicine, Law, Engineering,
Architecture, Dentistry, Computer Science, Aerospace, Travel, and others. ENGLISH
CONNECTION has the experience, as well as the resources, to organize specialized programs
for any individual or group. |

| Educational Excursions
|
Educational excursions are an essential part of the ENGLISH CONNECTION
curriculum. In addition to classroom instruction, educational excursions are the designed
to give students hands-on experience and practice in dealing with real-life situations.
Scheduled visits to places such as banks, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies,
libraries, travel agencies, insurance agencies, law offices, universities and colleges as
well as government organizations increase students' motivation toward learning a new
language. Educational excursions are a unique part the of academic curriculum offered at
ENGLISH CONNECTION. They enhance overall language learning and prepare students to
function successfully in American society. |

| TOEFL & TOEIC Preparation
|
ENGLISH CONNECTION offers instruction in the preparation of TOEFL (Test of
English as a Foreign Language). Our TOEFL Supercourse is for students who need to prepare
for the exam that is required for entrance into American colleges and universities. TOEFL
preparation courses teach students test-taking skills and English language skills that
will increase their scores on the TOEFL exam. Our instructional program covers all aspects
of the exam including: Listening Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression and
Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension.
ENGLISH CONNECTION also offers instruction in the preparation of TOEIC (Test of
English for International Communication). The TOEIC is an English language
proficiency test for people whose language is not English. It measures the everyday
English skills of people working in an international environment. The scores
indicate how well people can communicate in English with others in business, commerce, and
industry. Certificates are awarded.
