The achievements of these nine, award recipients are impressive and exemplary.
English Connection, at 480 Broadway in Saratoga Springs (with satellite offices in Rome, Italy), earned the Excellence in Export Award for Service Exporter. People of all ages have come to the program from 78 countries - with more on the way. Whether from Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Poland, or Uzbekestan - whether CEOs and presidents of multimillion dollar companies or members of corporate teams of support staff - students come to Saratoga to live in host families, take field trips, and participate in four to six hours of classroom study a day. "We love what we do, and it shows," says Joanne Kubricky, Founder and President of this growing organization, "Our students love it here, and we have a lot of fun together."
